Yeah but I chickened out at Sedbergh and went home! Sorry guys! Hope you had fun, while I was at home washing the ENTIRE of my bike! My fingers wouldnt move! Plus I hit reserve after already sticking a tenner in, so I thought sod it!

Ah, the "should I, shouldnt I thank them" conundrum whilst learning. If on your test, NEVER do it. But in Lessons, if I am let out, I nod. Its much less obvious to the teacher/examiner that way. Also, waving means removing your arm from the controls of the bike, which especially to a nit picking examiner, is a big no no.

I was going to make a thread about this myself! Being a Learner, I am amazed at how many nods I get, just because Im a biker, I get waved at when Im stopped too, it really is a spirit lifter! So, I always try nod first no matter what.
