Thats called hitting the limiter, change up a gear, should sort the problem

Na, I dunno. What rev range is high for you? What bike? Do you go over the red line?

Dont go anywhere near red line about half my clock.like i said if i jiggle throttle is opens up and let me go to higher rev its like its not getting enough fuel. Ive only got a suzuki rg f

In first gear at high revs my bike just sounds wron. And dont pick up speed properly.unless i jiggle the throttle then power valve kicks in problem is i have to move throttle back and forward alot. Is this a air filter problem or something els other than that bike is fine and ok in other gears

You've gotta warm it up good and proper in this weather before taking the choke off......but if it's still doing it when warm then maybe lift the tickover up a bit.....

I don't know for sure....but I think 2000rpm idle would be a bit high for this bike. 1000 - 1200 I would have thought. Remember...this bike won't develop a lot of power low down.....so (in true 2-stroke style) you've gotta rev it to get it to shift.....

Ok thanks mate ill give it ago.when its idle it also cuts out tho.

Just got my bike back.its had new plug tank air blasted out carb cleaned ect.wen its idle the rpm is 1000 or under and it dont sound right wen ticking over. Rides fine until i get it into 1st and try and pull away again it cuts out or bogs down isnt the rpm ment to be 2000 idle
