  1. I had a CBF125 and rarely overtook anything. I couldn't get enough speed quick enough to get past without either annoying drivers behind me or risking being hit by someone coming the other way.
  2. I agree , if he's not licenced to carry a pillion, then neither is he insured. Warn his girlfriend ASAP The guy sounds like a complete numpty and you're probably better off without reading his numpty Facebook posts.

  6. I'm thinking of getting this to run the Sat Nav on my iPhone 4S. It has very good reviews. Has any forum member got one, if so what do you think? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Motorcycle-iPho ... al_qh_dp_t

  11. I know that camera, but we were going the other way. Towards the dreaded A14.
  12. Glad to see Ermintrude has still got it
  13. Not so much a nob, more of a prat. I pulled in front of this BMW open top at the traffic lights in Cambridge and waited for the green light. It came, I went, not screaming fast but fast enough to be not in his way. I stopped in the LH lane at the next lights. (By the Science Park for those who know the area). The BMW was alongside me in the RH lane, both of us at the front. The green light came and the BMW driver floored the accelerator and flew up the Milton Road far too fast, evidently showing me that his car can go some. I'm not the kind of person that likes to show how fast a Fazer 600 can go, but he obviously thought I was going to scream off the line towards the A14 and thought he'd give me a race. I hope he was disappointed as I made no effort to enter into his childish game. Interestingly............. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/artic ... y-YES.html
  14. I will also make the effort tomorrow weather/work/circumstances/family permitting.
  15. I do a similar length journey as klingelton but wear my office trousers under my textile bike trousers, smart shirt under the textile jacket and like klingelton keep a pair of shoes in the drawer. I also keep a jacket in the office so if it's a bit nippy and I want to go out for a walk I can without freezing. Congratulations on the new job.
  16. Hmm, with Hartford Marina gone and Ultimate going, what are we going to do
  17. Try here: http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/mayerhaw ... ledme.html Lolz, my favourite is a Buffalo tankbag, I've had it years, its waterproof & has a 2 stage zip off plus a zip off bum bag, but I'm sure you will be happy with your Oxford TB I hope so. I'll let you know when I get it and road tested it. It won't be for a few weeks though.

  19. Thanks both. I've ordered an Oxford First Time 18 litre one. It will certainly get more in it than the 1.5 litre Autokicker one I've been using since my topbox frame fell off.
  20. I'm looking for advice on a suitable tank bag for my Fazer FZS. If you can help, I'd appreciate it. Winding Roads have recommended a Wolfman Explorer Lite but if there's a more suitable one, I'd like to know Thanks in advance John
  21. I'm going to make more of an effort this year to make the Tuesday meets, if they are still happening without the Marina. It will be my last opportunity as I move out of the area in the summer.
  22. Fantastic, well done young man or as they say in Wales, Dai Iawn.
  23. Just the one. 1999 Fazer 600. I have no need for another one.
  24. Good luck from me too Ollie. I found it much easier than Mod 1 so if you breezed Mod 1 you'll be fine. I look forward to good news from you tomorrow.
  25. Well done, Ols. ZZR eh! It's not Yamaha but at least it's Japanese. Ditto mailee66. When are you doing yours Lou?
