  1. Good to know mate.If you do go ahead keep us informed how you go on.
  2. If your'e talking stainless do not use wire wool. It applies iron particles to the headers which in turn will cause the rust. Autosol and plenty of elbow grease works wonders.
  3. To win from the back of the grid was astonishing. Don't forget all the bikes have the same Honda engines fitted to start with. OK,you build your own chassis and do a certain ammount of tweeks to the motor but at the end of the day not alot will seperate many of these bikes. Your'e not talking about a top of the range motogp bike passing al the crt's. This lad's something special,it may take him a year of hurt to get to grips but that is what usally happens to most of the top riders. Has been raining today for testing so not much to report on. Steve
  4. The ride today by Marquez was unbelievable, looked more like a computer game than realife. This lad is going to shake quite a few up next year as long as he stays on. We know from past exploits the top guys don't enjoy aggresive overtakes(no Stoner to join in with the lynch mob now though) so an interesting season lies ahead. Gutted for Crutchlow but didn't you know he was going to throw it down the road. Well done to Danny Kent with Cortese showing a bit of grace, easy now the championship has been sewed up. Testing on Tuesday will be fascinating.
  5. Looking back over the thread it seams I've got my wires crossed. Tiles were mentioned but in another context.I think these tiles will be to expensive for what I want to spend. Will have to have a rethink, probably leave it as it is
  6. Thanks very much to all for the advice . So to get this straight if I was to use rubber tiles all I would need to do first is seal the concrete. This seams to be the simpliest option if not the cheapest. Thanks again.
  7. Sorry to hear about your failure. Easy to say but their's always another day. Don't forget in any driving test be it bike, car, bus or truck, the main priority is safety. Keep that in mind and your well on your way.
  8. I too would be interested in this because my garage has a dusty old concrete floor
  9. Nice one. Hope you get your bike fixed.
  10. They look ok mate. Fit in well with the rest of the bike. Most importantly, they keep your hands a lot warmer.
  11. Glad they work mate but do they keep salt off your bike
  12. Hein Gericke own branded tools have 30% price reduction at the moment. Not sure of their quality but I would imagine it should be good.
  13. I have no problem disliking the bloke. Don't think he will lose any sleep though

My mirrors may be a touch larger and are very easy to adjust. Fold in aswell when not in use. The problem I found was looking down to the level of the bars instead of the natural viewing level for mirrors. Like I said, took me a while but all ok now. Really nice bike you've got there, exclusive to say the least.
  15. Aways a good feeling passing a test. Well done.

Cracking picture that mate. How are you finding those bar end mirrors? Took me a while to get used to mine but as I couldn't see a thing out of the oem's glad now I stuck with it. Steve
  17. Have got a Oxford Rainex for sale, brand new for £30 if interested.
  18. Your'e correct Techno the manufacturers did set the tech.regs. but that agreement no longer applies after this season. With the insistance of the controlled ecu in 2014 we will see who cracks first,Dorna or Honda. Honda are saying though that the other manufacturers don't want the ecu also. Interesting times ahead. By the way I agree with you about the rookie rule, complete rubbish.
  19. Yeah, the rookie rule soon went out of the window when Honda wanted there golden boy in the Repsol team. Honda have always had to much clout in my opinion, wonder if the threat of leaving if the controlled ecu goes ahead in 2014 will change the mind of Mr Ezpeleta. Saying that,am looking forward to Marquez ruffling a few feathers next year.
  20. As well as running moto gp,Dorna are taking over the running of world superbike. Well we all know what's coming next dont we? A dumbed down moto gp to more like superbike and a dumbed down superbike to more like superstock level. May be a good thing in the long run to have both series under one umbrella. Only time will tell. Steve
  21. Never used a glove with a wiper blade on but I did hear they can easily scratch youre visor. If small particles of grit are on their and you wipe youre finger across the inevitable will happen.
  22. Forcefield make a back insert for jackets. May be worth taking a look at.
  23. Yeah,that might help
  24. Going to need to improve that bike to have any hope for the championship. Good day for Biaggi today with the two finishes. Melandris wheels well and truly came off,had a nightmare last couple of races.
  25. Sorry Techno, will have to agree to disagree on that one.
