Techno I totally agree with you. I was running Michelin pilot 2cts on my bike and found them a lot less grippy. I also found that getting them up toa decent temperature was a hard job. I am now running the Bridgestones and am bloody well impressed. Grippy and "responsive. Not had them in the wet yet but we'll see. (The a bridgerstone fronta tyre is a very good tyre. VR fastest")

Right then i am currently running a set of michelin pilots on the front and rear on my zx6r 2000 model. I am looking for a new set of tyres as they are starting to round off and i have a track day looming in the future. So basically the pilots are going to be sh****ed after that day. Im not bothered about price i just want good value for money and the performance that matches it.
Front 120 x 65 zr17
rear 180 x 55 zr 17
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Cheers for the advice the guy runs his own Dyno centre I was down the other day

I mean the bike is twelve years old so it must be worth doing it to preserve it etc etc. plus the guy who had it before me never really took for a good outing if you know what I mean

Ahh now this caught me out the other day on the a1. Funny as it may seem I was not happy. If it isn't on then you must have had it on reserve which uses the main tank Plus reserve. I had mine switched to on so i lucky. If you got Haynes manual all is revealed. I can send a pic if that helps.

I have just upgraded the exhaust on my ninja zx6r 2000 model. I have also put a k&n filter in it. Is it worth upgrading to carb jets as I have been told the bike is running lean. The guy who is going to fit them used to work on racing bikes and the people I have spoken to alsace recommended him. I don't want to be taken for a mug basically. Cheers
Your thoughts would be appreciated
