I found on the internet the following way to downshift on a motorcycle without releasing gas: without releasing the gas (at the same time, you need to drive at not very high engine speeds so that they do not become very high later), you need to hold the clutch and select a lower gear. Is it ok to do this?

The solution turned out to be easy. I found out yesterday that a lot of people start their motorcycle with the clutch pulled in and tried to do the same. After that, shifting to 1st gear at the first start of the motorcycle became normal

I warm up my motorcycle in the yard before I ride out. However, when I shift into first gear, the bike jerks forward and sometimes stalls. The clutch stops working and the shift pad doesn't move, so I can't shift into neutral. All these problems go away if I press the clutch and roll the bike back and forth a few times. After that it starts working normally. This only happens when the motorcycle is started for the first time during the day. I have read that this may be due to the clutch discs sticking. It's not critical, but it's still annoying
