Toby_Smith Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 What is the best glue to use to clue plastic to plastic? It's for a part that something will be screwed into and may be pulled in a bit so will need an element of flex in it.I was thinking evostick?Any advise will be appreciated.Cheers.Toby Quote
Pete Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Epoxy resin. So Evo Stik then lol!Evo Stik is good, but generally the longer the epoxy takes to set the better/stronger it will be. As Evo Stik takes about 10 minutes to cure you might be better off with something like JB Weld which takes about 24 hours. Don't (as WalneyFrankie sadly found out) use it on petrol tanks though because it doesn't like it! Oh and if you do go for JB Weld the only place I could find it was on ebay. But it's bloody good stuff and should do what you want it to easily. Quote
blakeatron Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Or possible even fibre glass and reinforce from behind? Quote
