Riding a year and buy a hyperbike!......kudos :)

Looks like the other guy lives on the track he's tooling.

I wouldnt push it there either m8.Too much to loose crashing on the ring.Looks a great day out tho.

well whatever floats ya boat really.. with a sports tourer you can get to germany in relative comfort and go round the ring fast but still in comfort whereas that wouldnt be the case with a gixer thou or an r1.. you would still be going fast but with sore everything..

I agree with Sym, I test rode an R1 for a week before buying the ZZR, R1 is an amazing bike to ride and lovely handling, however after an hour riding I was ready to get off. The ZZR just goes on and on an on, we were doing 350 to 400 miles a day in Germany and didnt feel a thing!

Plus for my ability its fine on a track, Im no where near the standard of doing the ring at 150mph like some of the locals were so it wouldnt have made any difference if I was on the ZZR, an R1 or a 125 to be honest!

Im short so dont get in any pain riding sports bikes. So its an R1 or the like as my weapon of choice. For me to get there im 15mile from the ferry to Amsterdam then a 200mile trip to get there which is no biggie. My first day planned for Jockland this year starts with a 430 mile trip from Newcastle to Inverness avoiding all motorways 8.5 hours in the saddle.
