Guest Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 You could try topping it up and and charging it. Remove from bike first for best results. You could also try bumping the bike, but if the battery is kaput, it simply won't charge ...New batteries in the range of £30 upwards. No brands spring to mind mate, and ebay cheapest bet. Well, online searching should throw up the best deals.Budget around £50 for the battery though. It should arrive in a box, with a seperate acid pack. Follow the insctructions and you should be fine. New batteries generally require some sort of charge. It will say whether or not on the box though.... RE ... Checking the battery ... do you have a multimeter? A fully charged battery should be kicking out just shy of 13v ... Quote
lingy3 Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 See if you can borrow an optimiser,My batt is sealed got gel so no top up needed Quote

Voodoo Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 There's usually enough charge in a new battery to start your bike, in which case your bike will then charge it fully. Quote
