New game for all "Bike Scrabble"

New rules for june

Names have to contain at least the first or last letter of the previous town

You are allowed 30 posts per month (1 a day or every other post, up to you.) This is so people can join in throughout the month.

use your posts wisely to get maximum points

You take a picture of your bike next to the name roadsign of a "Country, City, Town, Village or Borough"

You then receive the amount of points for the letters in that Placename the same as in Scrabble.

0 Points - Blank tile. A gap between town names

1 Point - A, E, I, L, N, O, R, S, T and U.

2 Points - D and G.

3 Points - B, C, M and P.

4 Points - F, H, V, W and Y.

5 Points - K.

8 Points - J and X.

10 Points - Q and Z.

For Example :- HULL = H,4 U,1 L,1 L,1 Total of 7 points.

You add your points up every time you get a new picture.

The next person's picture has to contain the 1st or last letter of the previous town.

So to follow Hull, you could have anything from Ullapool to London.

This enables everyone to join in, no mater where they are in the country (even abroad, as long as the letters are English)

You only count the letters from the Name not the "Welcome to the city of"

After you have posted a picture of of your Go. Could you add your new total and then cut and paste the results so we have a running total at the bottom.

The winner is the person with the most points at midnight of the last day of each month.

Bonus points

If a Place has 2, 3 or 4 Names you get an extra point for each name. ie Newton Le Willows = 3 extra points

If you get a Country Namesign eg France you get an extra 5 points
