Evening all!!

Passed my Mod 2 today, im so over the moon! I dont think its sunk in yet...

Got to the riding center today tired from only getting 4 hours kip after my night shift, Met my instructor and another fella who was having his second shot at the mod 2. Quick cuppa tea and a fag then it was time to get kitted up and get on our way!

Ride out to the test center went ok, i didnt think it was great but my instructor said it was fine...

The other fella was first, That must of been one of the longest waits in my life! think i nearly wore a hole in the test centers carpet pacing around! Finally they come back into the test center, Hooorah! My turn next.! (The other chap also past! Happy days!)

After being introduced to my examiner and getting kitted out we went out to the car park and i was asked some questions which i "ummmm'd" and "ahhhhhhh'd" though, Not a great start i thought to myself! Failed allready on these questions!

anyways on to the ride, we went on a route along some roads ive never been down, A few times i didnt catch the speed sign so had 2 guess alot of it, Long story short i really didnt know how well i did, I defo missed some speed signs etc but hooo hum,

I was asked to park up and meet him in the office, I was told id been successful but was asked why i had ridden not to the speed limit etc etc, i fumbled for answers and started to dig a hole for myself, I started to think id talked myself out of a pass! The examiner then said he'd only issue an A2 license (for 125's) as i had ridden my das bike like a 125, I was stunned! Luckly he was only pulling my leg! I took my pass form and ran out of there before he changed his mind!

in the end i got 3 minors, All in the progess/appropriate speed box for not riding up to speed in time but hey ho, a pass is a pass!!!

***********A tribute**************

My dads always been a biker and got me my first bike when i was 12! I first went for my bike license when i was 17 with my dad saying if i pass then he'll let me have his 'blade for the day, i failed then went onto cars, My dad since then has always had bikes..Anyways, recently my dad was diagnosed with cancer. The plan was he was going to get better whilst i took my test then we could get my bike and ride out together on the bacon run, IOM etc. Unfortanly he didnt make it and passed away. I still wanted to get my license in tribute to my dad so dad, this ones for you..Just wish you was here so we could ride together, Miss u...(Ive got a MASSIVE lump in my throat, its been an emotional day)
