adam1979 Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 Hi all. I am looking for a tail pack for my ER6 but it has to meet some requirements so I need some advice. It does not have to be very big (only need to use it for carrying my work gear back and forth) but the main thing is it needs to be quick to mount/dismount. All of the ones that I have looked at seem to need strapping down or suck like. Is there a tail pack out there that has some sort of base that stays on my seat and the bag comes on and off there quickly??Hope this makes sense. (I aint to good at explaining things!!)ReagrdsAdam Quote
Guest Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 you could get a tank bag, and fit it to the rear seat, bungee it down using the fastenings provided, and then unzip the bag when required, also has the advantage that the bag has rucksack style handles inside. Quote
blakeatron Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 I have the kriega (us-20) I think...!Anyway the straps go under the pillion seat and then the bag goes on top and clips into the straps. You can take the bag off and just leave the straps in place.I got 2 pairs of trainers, a jumper and jeans in mine quite comfortably Quote

Ingah Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 I think the Kreiga US10 (as came free with my Almax chain) is probably what you're asking for (if possibly a little too small at 10L, but then they do the 20/30/etc) The straps are "permanent" (go under the seat), but the bag itself is a clip-on, clip-off job. adam1979 Posted June 5, 2010 Author Posted June 5, 2010 Really like the look of the Krieger US20. Think that could be exactly what I need. How exactly does it clip onto its base and does the base come with it or bought seperately?Sorry for all the questions!!Adam Quote
adam1979 Posted June 5, 2010 Author Posted June 5, 2010 Dont matter. I see it is on straps. Thanks for the info guys. Quote
oldgreg01 Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I have the Kriega 10 and 20. Quick to attach and remove, and to also remove the straps when your not using any. Also have the 5 permanently on my tank for wallet, phone, keys etc. Awesome kit. Quote
