Guest Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Im doing a trackday at cadwell park soon and the noise limit is 105 decibels, ive got a scorpion end can fitted to my fireblade its not a race can but can have baffles fitted to it if you wish,I dont think its noisey but is it likely to fail the noise limit like this would I be better getting a set of baffles fitted ?Naff question I know but ive never been on a track so if you dont ask you dont know.Cheers all Quote
TC Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 If you've got removable baffles, Take them with you to put in if needed. Quote
Guest philgale Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 you dont rev it to the limit, at a guess a 1000cc bike would be around 4500rpmyou will be surprised how quiet it is, i think the only chance you have of failing is if you have removed the cat, if its just a slip on end can dont worry 105bd is loads...on my gsxr600 iv got a full quill system (not just an end can) and that comes in at 98db.as TC says if you have baffles take them with you just in case.oh and stick the dates your doing in TD section so others can pop along if they want.
