Ive been browsing for the last couple of days for a good cheap two piece leather suit.

They're all much of a muchness.

Went to an event the other day and saw a two piece suit, leather, for £120! Didnt buy it as i couldnt carry it on the bike as i had a pillion.

Searched the net for the same brand and couldnt find it.

Anybody else know a good brand or place i can get some entry level 2 pieces?

Most branded leather bike gear is made in the same location in Pakistan. So buying a budget brand such as Akito or RST is not really a world away from buying a 'premium' brand such as Dainese or Alpinestars. The premium nature of these brands only really applies to their made-to-measure products. The most important factor is fit. If your bike gear doesn't fit you correctly, the protection it offers you would be seriously compromised.

:stupid:

QB is 100% right, fit is the most important thing. Too loose and you`ll still get skin burn if you slide. Too tight and you`ll be singing soprano.

I`d also go along with oldgreg, RST were my first choice, cheap and well made. You could also try Richa as well. Good pair of trousers for around £140 and a jacket for around £250. Dont do too cheap though, they could be some thin leather with bad stiching

My Alpinestars jacket says it was made in Romania, I guess that makes it a premium one :D

Some guy on ebay is doing icon leathers for around £250. The people on here with icon leathers speak quite highly of them. Worth a look...

EDIT: I meant Ixon not Icon.

I got my 2 piece from hein gericke there own brand stuff which is also good because you dont have to buy 2 piece of the same suit as a different jacket to trousers will still zip together if you want it too. I needed to do this not that i zip my stuff together but have the zip part if i did, also its been down the road a few times is seven years old and only thing wrong is one press stud is missing.

Another vote for RST here. Good fit, good quality, good price.

Slightly off topic, but just watch the RST gloves if you get some of them too. They do cheapo ones (about £30) which are very thin & probably wouldn't offer much protection in a crash. The more expensive ones (£70) are as good as any of the others.
