passed my mod 2

hi all, my first post on here so here we go , did my mod 1 last week no probs then did my mod 2 yesterday at 11.15 in darlington , the ride before my test was great with no real problems , when it came to the test i just went blank when he asked me about checking my brake fluid , we left the test station straight in to the town centre , then loads of little side streets i was all over the place , i have had big off road bikes most of my life so riding a bike was never a problem i knew if i was going to fail it would be to fast or to slow or not stopping at a stop sign , anyway out of the centre and onto the a66 upto 70 overtook a wagon no probs then we started to head back to the test station , thank god i said , back at the test station he asked me about life savers and why i was only doing 25 in a 30 , i said to many parked cars and i felt that 30 was a bit to fast , ok he said you have PASSED !! , couldnt beleive it i thought i had blown it , hgv class 1 , cbt , mod 1 , mod 2 all in 15 days , thank god its all over , and thanks guys for all the little tips that really helped me , pat

Congrats on passing. sounds like you had a lot of tests, time to relax methinks.

On a related note, why did you do a HGV license? and how easy/difficult is it?

had to do my hgv class 1 as part of my job ( crane driver for mammoet ) so i thought i might as well do my bike test as i have been putting it off for 25 years , the only thing that really made me think over the last 2 weeks class 1 and bike lessons and tests was my cbt , i did mine with a young kid , he was 16 never did a theory test and wasnt to good on road signs , i followed him and the instructor followed me , a few times i thought he was going to fall off or hit something , we got back to the centre and he passed , i was shocked to be honest , i would of made him do it again ,
