Guest Posted June 28, 2010 Share Posted June 28, 2010 hi all,i have managed to get a 2nd hand starter motor,£50....problem is fitting it...i have dissconected the lead from the solenoid and taken out the two bolts holding it in onto the engine..there seems nothing else holding it in place...ive tried pulling it out and tried tapping it out with a hammer but it will not budge...is there a certain way to get the starter out...any advise would be greatly appreciated....cheers...graham Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
eastanglianbiker Posted June 28, 2010 Share Posted June 28, 2010 it is normally just push fit then the 2 bolts it will have a rubber o ring on it just keep at it and it will come out if you can get a bar/screwdriver down around where it goes into the engine you might be able to put pressure on it there so as u wiggle it then it might just pop out Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
