Shot through first part ok ( slalom figure 8 u-turn ) was a bit slow on the swerve at 44 kph and 52 kph on emergency stop. Had another go and got 47 kph so failed on the swerve. feel like but first go and hopefully can get one booked next week and nail it. any one got any tips to make sure over the 50 kph will be greatly appreciated. gilly_uk Posted August 17, 2010 Share Posted August 17, 2010 When I did it on my 125 I could tell when I was at a good enough speed due to the high pitched engine noise lol. Maybe try and listen for a certain engine noise at that speed that you can refer too, as I said above my 125 had a very distinct noise in 3rd gear that I could use to know what speed I was at.Just be in a low enough gear coming out of the corner that can pick up speed quickly to high a gear and you will struggle to get up to speed. apatia77 Posted August 19, 2010 Share Posted August 19, 2010 I did it on ybr 125 and on 2nd gear but you have to go maximum speed, your bike gotta sound like it was going to explode LOL.I got speed of 49 my first attempt and then second 53 Good luck next time.
