Where to do CBT - Winchester / Hants area (ish!)

Hey folks,

I am planning on doing my CBT and was wondering if you could recommend a good place to do it? I am guessing that there are good and bad out there as with most things, so do any of you have experience of training sites near to Winchester? (Willing to travel to Andover or Basingstoke too)

I am very new to biking....well not even started yet!.... so I am a little unsure of where to go, and what's best.

we don't have many members from those areas!

Is there a local bike meet you could go and ask at?

local dealerships? you know anybody at work/tech/college who has a bike?

friends of friends? etc etc.

If not then I'd go and talk to a few local training places,

you'll at least get an idea if they're friendly

Unfortunately my friends are all 30+miles away so nothing really local

However I have spotted a Suzuki shop in Basingrad which seems to do CBT so I'll go and have a chat, I think they do the "hour free taster" session too which should give me chance to see if the instruction is good.

Odd that there are few Hampshire members, when I was into the Japanese car scene and lived in the Midlands, it was swarming with buggers from Hants

when i was in the army i spent a lot of time

in bordon. There used to be a big bike meet

in Alton, on a weds i think.

there's a place near to Winchester that has bike meets every Wednesday night...
