techno Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Thought i may ask well as you guys, on arriving in montrose on fri the front end suddenly started to wobble, basically upto about 35mph you feel it throuh the bars its not major just annoying after 35 nothing upto well not so legal speeds.Nothing is loose and we had just done a major run on motorway tyre is pretty much in a position to be replaced I havent knocked the wheel so the only conclusion i could come to is the tyre is out of shape anybody any othjers ideas or is this the most likely problem? Stu Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 could be a combination of the tyre and the luggage too see if it does it without the luggage and see what its like after new tyre too Quote
techno Posted October 22, 2010 Author Posted October 22, 2010 No luggage it had done 320 miles pulled in petrol station and then felt it on the last mile lolWill see what its like after new tyre! Quote
Stu Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 thats the luggage ruled out then didnt you take a change of clothes ya smelly twat could also be a balance weight gone missing and you only notice it at low speed if no joy with the new tyre start checking head bearings Quote
techno Posted October 22, 2010 Author Posted October 22, 2010 If no joy wi tyre they will be taking a look all under warranty! And yes i took luggage its done it after luggage removed numb nuts lol Quote
Guest Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 lost a balance weight? If tyre needs replacing anyway, like has been said, see wot its like after new un ... Quote
techno Posted October 22, 2010 Author Posted October 22, 2010 Strange thing is I dont remember there been any balznce weights on the front but its a possibility with way it suddenly started....like has been said when i get round to it new tyre is first on list! Quote
NathanJ Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 I get that on my scoot, and with my flip-front helmet I need to take my hands off of the bars momentarily to engage the safety lock, and the bars start to wobble uncontrolably. A change of tyre seemed to help. Quote
