matty6660 Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Just trying to brush up on some mod1 info before the test. I was wondering that while your doing the manouvers, do you have to always stop by putting your left foot down and only your left foot down? So far vids on youtube have showed that you can only put down your left foot. Or can you use your other foot, or both? Cheers pplz. Quote
Martyc Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 It's good practice to put your left foot down to keep the rear brake covered with your right. Otherwise you could be seen to not be in full control of the bike, so I was told by my instructor anyway. Quote
dimmers Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 i would only put your left foot down and keep your right on the back brake. one other thing i heard is that its best to put the bike in neutral as well when the examiner is talking to you in between sections of the course.shoulder checks are one of the biggest things to remember, everytime you pull away, and don't forget to do a lifesaver just before you start to turn on the u-turn.best of luck Quote
