nman1 Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Can anyone recommend a hanging rack for my bike gear. One that will taKe jacket, trousers, one piece, gloves, helmet and boots. Preferably free standing as I don`t want to put too many holes in walls I don`t own although if there is a good wall mounted one out there i won`t discount it.Thanks for any help. (I have googled for one but it does not come up with many suggestions) Quote
nman1 Posted January 12, 2011 Author Posted January 12, 2011 Cheers Kev, exactly what I was after, now I have to wait for Friday for pay day. Quote
Coume Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Have you looked here ? Thanks a lot for this link. The Floor Standing Biker Tidy is exactly what I have been looking for. As soon as I get my pay check I will buy one of them ThanksLudo Quote
Mighty Mariner Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I bought the Biker Tidy at the Lincoln tail end BMF and got a show discount.Excellent product, quite heavy, but needs to be as leathers are heavy.I have two two piece and one one piece sets hung on , two pairs of gloves two Pairs of boots two helmets and a backpack on the top shelf and it easily copes with the weight. The hangars are made of tubular steel which is heavy guage and the clip on ones for trousers are simple but clever. The satin black finish is good as well and it has released alot of wardrobe space. Well worth the money. Quote
nman1 Posted January 13, 2011 Author Posted January 13, 2011 I`m convinced Mighty Mariner, I`ll be sending for one tomorrow on pay day. Is yours the free standing one ??? Quote
bullet5 Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Look great, but think i'll stick with my trusty Ice Hockey stand. Large heavy, robust, enough bars to stick everything on. And helmet perched on top Remeber to get (if not already) a tray to put underneath the rack, otherwise the rain water as it drips off will cause your carpets to go mouldy and/or your laminated wood flooring to warp, and possibly rot.
