  1. Take the numbers off the old bearings or just measure size and type and look at simply bearings website. http://simplybearings.co.uk/shop/
  2. Check out made to measure especially at this time of year it might not be as expensive as you thought.
  3. If you want to do a track day you'll need one piece leathers or two piece that fully zip together. The idea of this is to stop them pulling apart in a crash and leaving exposed skin to get ground away. For preference I wear two piece leathers all the time, I had to have them made so they would be the perfect fit and the bonus was that they weren't that much more than off the peg. Textiles for the same reason don't fit too well because they are off the peg and I find them too hot.
  4. Charlie Chuck let loose. I didn't feel completely safe in the same building. And painting pylons? Class. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid= ... permPage=1
  5. http://www.facebook.com/GuyMartinRacing An alternative night of reet good entertainment.
  6. Bad news, there is no industry standard. You might be lucky but if all else fails you can have zips changed or even have adapters to convert one type to another.

  8. Rossi must be juggling with emotions right now whether to give up riding or carry on he was so close to Marco. I hope he can carry on but would understand his decisiion if he called it a day. It so sad for all those involved but especially for his family.
  9. Make sure that the brakes are bled properly as air in the hydraulics will make your brakes poor. Some are notoriously difficult to do such as Aprilia RSV and Cagiva Raptor. If in doubt get someone who knows what they are doing to check. Don't take chances with brakes.
  10. If you by one have a practice first by putting the square drive in a vice and seeing when it clicks off at various settings. It is easy with small bolts into alloy to overtighten and strip threads as low torque settings don't produce a loud click. As you gain experience you'll get to know if you are overtightening bolts. Better safe than sorry, as stated previously repairs can be expensive.
  11. Coaches that have favourites and don't let everyone enjoy the game. Coaches that always pick the same players because they like them. Coaches that often get it wrong and don't motivate the "team". These are all the qualities of an England Manager so it's not just at schoolboy level where there are plonkers.
  12. 125s just finished . I have the built in ones in all my jackets. I have taken it out on occasions and put a back protector in that I got from Aldi or Lidl which is the armadillo type of protector. It doesn't feel as comfy as the built in but I can imagine in an off it would give extra protection against puncture injuries and impact injuries. It takes longer to put on but not much and it is extra gear to lug around. It makes me sweat more as well which is a distraction. If I got an injury that would not have occured had I worn the proper protection I would only have myself to blame. I wonder if you can get reduced insurance for wearing better protection?
  13. Difficult to estimate the numbers at A63 but a lot more than I expected, probably 500 or 600 I guess. The length of the group was more than a mile covering two lanes of the M62,M18,M180 I hope the spectacle highlights the depth of feeling. The police were good they closed the A63 to allow the group to leave South Ferriby in one lump and closed on slips on the motorways and intersections to allow us to keep moving. Behaviour was exemplary but could have had more impact in major towns and cities.

  17. Tragic news that the pilot lost his life heroically steering his plane away from houses and saving greater loss of life. I hope his memory will be suitably honoured.
  18. Exactly spot on! Well apparantly they have cordoned off leeds city centre tonight and deployed rubber bullets about bloody time as well! Leeds should always be cordoned off
  19. If I remember correctly it was a longer shock than the original but not by much
  20. I had a 600 and it was struggling two up to the pint of dangerous. I fitted a GSXR shock with remote damper, it also raised the back up at the same time. The handling was totally transformed, and adjustable. cant remeber year of GSXR but her's a pick of it installed. The remote is painted black attached to seat subframe.http://i926.photobucket.com/albums/ad106/Raptorchap/IMG_1953.jpg http://i926.photobucket.com/albums/ad106/Raptorchap/IMG_1952a.jpg As I remember there were no issues fitting it.
  21. With treated waterproof materials it's important to make sure that they are dried preferably in a tumble drier to almost crispy but follow the manufacturer's instructions.
