jacol Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Alright, google didn't really help me so I'm asking here.I'm no mechanic so I have no idea about this. How often do you do carb synchro?. There is that bike I'm interested in, less than 40k miles if I remember, and guy says he did it few months ago. Now, my 'mate' is telling me to leave that bike because "you don't sync carbs at that kind of mileage" Is he correct? Quote
bullet5 Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Personaly I'd have thought that at 40k miles, most bikes with carbs will have had at least one to keep the engine in top nick, and power delivery to a max. But i'll keep any eye out for an answer too, as would like to know. Thanks for asking Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 at 40,000 miles i would of had them done at least twice by then just to make sure they were set correctly Quote

Revvin Kevin Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 At least every 8k or so but as said, it's easy and worthwhile doing every service. Quote
Ingah Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 At least every 8k or so but as said, it's easy and worthwhile doing every service.+1. Every 8K/year on the CB500. Quote
