OK no more fighting please.Dan you asked ,if i fail my (i take it you meant ridden ) test who would i blame.i would blame me.if i cant ride a bike to a good enough standard to pass the ridden test then i should fail ,but riding is a skill something that you can learn and perfect clicking at the right second when watching a vid isn't its luck.but lets not go there again .I'm not sure if i can be bothered you see a bike would be a toy but its looking like a rather expensive toy .i don't need one i would like one.i regretted not taking my bike test 30 years ago and thought before I'm past it i should give it ago but perhaps i am already past it .i have my next test on the 17 but its not set in stone as to whether i do it or not .i can cancel and get a refund .i could just get a 125 and ride that for the next two years but I'm not sure i would be satisfied with that ,unless it were a classic 125.my wife doesn't want anything to do with bikes so i would only ride it to and from work weather permitting and on the occasional sat/Sunday.perhaps i should get an open toped sports car and a medallion to satisfy my late mid life crises,at least i wouldnt have to take a test

I dont think it matters what age you are, it feels great to go for a nice drive in a car but its a totally different experience when youve got a machine between your legs and your blasting around on it, totally different.

Just remember that safety is whats important.

well thanks for all your comments and advice .I'm taking the test on the 17th and if i pass i pass if i don't ill just have to do it again .I'm going to find an instructor that has premises so i can have lessons for the mod 1 .ill go to a few local bike shops to see if there are any schools locally that can do this.but if all else fails then ill get me a classic 125 to pop to and from work when the sun shines ,which will still be fun .all the best . Steve .

PS. now Kristy about my grammar
