Made the most of this fantastic weather and went first to Lake Vyrnwy then onto Bala via a stunning mountain road which was rather narrow. I allowed hubby to ride the Gladius as it would have been a bit tricky to ride them both! It was hellishly windy though and I had to fight to stay upright on the YBR at times

Hahaha!! There was enough wind without added extra! Sue it was rather hairy in places, especially coming down some of the mountain roads - I did wonder whether the YBR would be able to stay upright

You HAVE to come out with me some time, I know some fab places (with good tearooms/cafes  )

Did that back road from Bala to Vyrnwy once, as we rode down the road into Llangynog(I think) there was a Tornado at the same height as us and the navigator gave us the the thumbs up as he flew past us at "500" ft ????? Awesome.

Nice one Gill, you are gonna look so good ridin that Gladius !!!

I hope so, if I don't drop the bloody thing LOL!!  Yes I recall the name Llangynog we did go through it. Am used to low flying aircraft we live on the flight path of RAF Shawbury, we get low flying choppers over us all the time! . The jets tend to fly over parts of Wales :)
