looking at one for my sv650s but the thing i want to know is..

do i need to put little bobbins on the back as there is a thread where i guess they go and do i new to have both front and back or can i just buy a back one and use it?

and are these universal ones any good as suzuki are selling at £90 for the rear!

its only so i can park the bike up and tuck it up to the wall at home, not using to takewheels off etc..

ABBA stands are the best, but a bit pricey! A rear paddock stand should be £30 to £50 quid, don't pay £90

universal ones are fine but you want the bobbins as there miles better. bikes much more stable on bobbins

Abba stand mate, once you buy one you just change the fittings for a new bike, they fit all bikes and you can get both wheels off the ground at the same time (with a jack, dont bother with the front lift from abba).

Before I had a bike with a centre stand I used the abba stand every time i cleaned the Gixer. I still have mine I just need to get the fittings for Willows bike ordered.

If you need to borrow a paddock stand at any time just pop round, I have one you can use for short times mate

Not on all bikes!

Because mine has 1 pipe running from the front and its off centre you can't lift off it and the sump is no good because it just lifts the full bike up!!

I made a stand which works the same as the abba stand and works great

I bought an Abba stand for a CB1300, easy to use on your own, and rock solid support. As someone said, they are a bit pricey, (cheaper than a centre stand!), but once you have it, you only need to buy extra fittings if you change bikes.

If a man says something whilst walking in the woods, and there isn't a women within 100 miles, is he still wrong?
