Crikey that's early - good luck and hope you get some sleep!

Waste of my time, got up early, got all my stuff prepared, got there an they overbooked, I have to re book another test and wait again

Thats what I thought, then when I called to book in another test, she said that I have to pay to have more lessons if I want to do it with them now

So who was at fault, the training school or the test centre?

I don't see why you should have to pay for more lessons, surely if you're at the standard where you're good enough to take your test now, why should that be any different when the new date comes through?

Smells a bit like profiteering to me!!

I don't know, it was the training schools fault though, they some how managed to book me and someone else into the same slot or something like that, I don't get what they actual my done, but when she told me I would have to book more lessons, and the test, I told her she may as well just forget it

I'd have a chat with the top cheese in the training school, it's not your fault they couldn't organise it correctly. And why did they put you forward for test if you still need more lessons? I can understand if it's to keep your skills fresh if it's weeks for another test, but still....

The training schools have to name the tests (ie, they phone up and tell DSA who is going to be taking the test at 9.15 etc) two working days before the test takes place. I was there when my instructor named me on my Mod2, so I know this is required.

It sounds like your people are badly organised to say the least, and as for needing more lessons - book in with another school mate!

That's really bad, could you not book your own through the DSA site? My instructor booked the Mod 1 for me along with lessons which is why it cost me £200 - if he had done the same for Mod 2 I'd have been looking at about £360! So I said I couldn't afford that and booked the test online myself (£75) then just arranged for a morning's tuition the day before. They had plenty of slots available and I got a Mod 2 test a week after passing Mod 1.

i'm going to be booking my own now instead, after what happened yesterday, i dont think ill go anywhere near that school again!
