re-waterproofing clothing

can't see another topic so thought i would ask.

last time i was out i got soaked, my trousers were fab, not a drop got through, but my jacket ended up dripping in the bathroom.

now i waterproofed it after it was last washed (after the winter weather) and it was fine, but now leaking like a sieve.

just wondering what you guys recommend as a re-proofer as there are loads out there, in machine washes, sprays and so on.

Nik wax wash in treatment

i bet the last time you washed it you put fabric softner in? if so its a big no no as it makes them err leak

Believe it I didn't. Used the tecwash wash then the proper for rain wear. Just seems to have lasted a short time.

Nik wax is amazing stuff, works very well and lasts quite a long time too.

With treated waterproof materials it's important to make sure that they are dried preferably in a tumble drier to almost crispy but follow the manufacturer's instructions.
