Theboyparker Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 On the Varadero I've noticed that the rear brake light doesn't light up properly when I pull the front brake lever. I'll try to explain more below...When pulling on the front lever the rear light lights up for the first cm pull of the lever but then goes out if you pull it any further..... Is this a sign that the switch is on the way out?The rear brake works the light fine so I'm having to use the rear brake as well as the front at all times just to be on safe side...Cheers Quote
argentum40 Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 sounds to me like the front brake switch is knackered... they are usually cheap enough to replace though Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 have you checked that the switch hasnt come loose near the lever, if it is still locked in place then might need replacing Quote
Theboyparker Posted September 3, 2011 Author Posted September 3, 2011 Not checked anything on as yet. Wanted to see what people thought. There fairly cheap so I might just order one anyways Thanks for the replies Quote
