Angle start from behind a hazard

Another one of my diagrams, only thing in not sure is the timing of Signal...however i feel this is safe

for me, its signal as soon as you kick the bike into gear.thn do all checks before pulling out

i was told from instructor that if i signal before im ready it may cause driver to brake for no reason, thus causing adverse situation...

Well as am not doing a test I dont indicate if theres nothing there that is going to impede me moving off then theres nothing to inform about the possibility am going to move off.

personally i figured my instructor over complicated most things and wanted to talk about his new car most of time, hence why i decided to go alone lol

Re 'inching out'. Avoid if possible, if behind something big then maybe not possible but if behind a car you should be stopped far enough back that you don't need to inch out. If you do need to 'inch out', you shouldn't be signalling yet.

I agree with not signalling until you are ready, I was also taught not to signal until you know its clear as causing another approaching vehicle to slow down you can be marked down.

I was taught same as Vicki, mirror-signal-lifesaver-manoevre.

I got two minors for not pulling away quick enough after doing the works on my stop and starts. So remember after that lifesaver, no fiddling around - go!

As said, mirror signal manouver, all of why should be done once you are ready to move off.
