Mod 1 booked

25th October. Need to be at the school for 9:00 for a ride down to the centre to be there for 9:50.

Had a full mock test on Saturday. Stuffed up the U-turn 'coz I'd followed the diagram too closely for the slow ride, I'd done it in a straight line on the diagonal and stopped on the diagonal. My examiner (the school's secretary) walked up to me and said "I'm going to forget you've done that, you're supposed to be in the box in line with the lines for the U-turn because you go straight into it from here. Go round a quick circle and come back here in line"

Flustered me a bit and was chuntering to myself as I was riding round to line up and when I did the U-turn I stuffed it completely :(

Rest of it went fine, would have been a clean sheet apparently.

I did the slalom/figure 8, slow ride and U-turn section again after I'd finished with no problems whatsoever.

Valuable lesson learned and well learned before the test itself!
