have you undone the large allen bolt in the bottom of the fork leg?

have you teken the top off the forks and removed the spring and drained the oil ?

how did you manage to get seal out

have done all the above. the seal moved enough to prize it out at the garage (no damage to the fork at all) but this was after a few hours of pulling it back and forth. since then nothing has moved. it appears to be stuck where it is. nothing else we have tried seems to work.

if you have got the big allen bolt out at the bottom then it should slide up and out unless the bush inside has collapsed which would show up as sideways movement on the fork leg when assembled. just thinking it hasnt got anti dive unit at the base ofthe fork has it that might need unbolting off the side of the fork leg to allow it to be removed

No anti dive. Just stuck solid. Looking at a new fork from David silver but it is an 01. Does anyone know if the are the same as the 02.
