Guest Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 I got an e-mail asking me to go to this link and thought some of you might want to do the same.http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Sir-John-Surtees/signYou never know your name on the list might just make a difference. For those who don't care or just don't want to that’s fine thanks for reading anyway. For those who do care pass it around, email it or post it to your other forums. I would but I don’t know anyone…lol.J Quote
Guest Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 2 summers ago i went to Ibiza with a lad from school called John Surtees! Quote
Evs7 Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 I think a lot of people get over looked in those honours lists.I mean what about Murray Walker???? poor old boy, he's 80 now. Motor Racing still isn't quite the same without him. I spent my youth watching Touring cars, Motorbikes, Forumla 1/3 all commentated on by Murray Walker.John Surtees though, what a man, back when racing was without seatbelts, without rollcages, scary stuff. Guest Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Well that’s all you need to get someone with the same name knighted then!! Either that or maybe he should be knighted just for going to Ibiza. Was he into bike?!Could he be the famous John Surtees??? In disguise?J Quote
Guest Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 I suspect not but what he doesnt know about bikes he makes up for in gambling! Quote
Guest Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 I do that everytime I go out on the bike. Gambling makes life worth living!!J Quote
