Bike starts, then stops when clutch engaged???

No I definitely put it up, but I didn't check to make sure it had gone all the way up, so the cut off switch may still had been engaged. I'll look at that when I get home but the way the engine died it was just like when the stand is down.

Does it lurch forward when you put it in gear?

 


No, it just cuts out. It maybe down to me getting lazy and jet washing the bike at work a few days ago as it was so covered in crud, especially where the side stand is :(


As soon as I get home I'll check it.

Your supervisor is very accommodating to allow you to wash your bike and write personal messages on the computer while you're at work. I had a job like that once. Now, in retirement, I have to do everything on my own time.

Privilages of being the supervisor! (Which are extended to the staff as well as we get down times when there really is nothing to do and its good for moral)
