MrBlonde71 Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I fitted some (cheap) heated grips to my bike but the throttle grip moves if twisted hard enough, There was no glue in the kit (no instructions either). Can anyone suggest a glue to use that will not be too hard to remove in future (when/if they go wrong!)Thanks. Quote

Matt Strange Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 I've always used extra hold hairspray. First to lubricate them & then to hold once set, you do have to push them on quickly!!. A trial to see just how tight they are dry is recommended, just try to see how the first 10mm or so fits. You'd think that when the grips get warm they'd slip, but 3 fittings later using this method has yielded no slippage! Quote
