Boro Jake Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Stopped my engine at the lights to only to notice it takes two turnovers to fire the engine w hen its hot. previously the bike wud fire on the button. cold starts are on the buttom. seems strange it not doing this previously.I did have my heated grips on full with lights on dont know if this would affect it. Or am i being paranoid Quote
Tango Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Yeah...could have been a slightly low voltage on the battery with all the stuff on. Keep an eye on it and see if it gets any worse.....then worry about it... Quote
Stu Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 could just be a little fuel evaporation too Quote
Boro Jake Posted January 31, 2012 Author Posted January 31, 2012 Tried it riding home with no headgrips/head lights and it fired straight away.57w heated grips on full with headlights cant help the battery much Quote

Colin the Bear Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 With everything drawing from the battery, there's very little left to make a spark. It's a hassle, but, turn everything off for maximum spark Quote
