Anyone got a RST Connection Zip Belt?

Recommended Posts

Not sure if allowed to post links so will do best without it, have seen an RST Connection Zip Belt, basically it can be used with any trousers so can connect RST Jacket to it. For me I will be connecting it to my Kevlar Jeans until I can afford the matching leather trousers. This is the description

The new RST Connection Belt is a simple yet incredibly clever solution to the issue of how to connect your Kevlar jeans to your RST bike jacket. Simply thread your own belt through the connector, and you immediately have a zip that can attach to your jacket!

Anyone used one? As I wonder if is 360 connection or just short old style.

Hi,

I was looking for a review on this too.

After not finding one, I've placed an order anyway.

I'll let you know how it works out once it arrive.

I should of updated this, forgot. I bought one, and is excellent! Works incredibly well, basically thread it through belt buckles along with belt. Once zip it to jacket is nice and secure and doesn't ride up. For just over a tenner is best bit of motorcycling kit have ever bought. I think the other top makes do their own branded version.

I'm really impressed with mine too.

The zip seems to be RST specific (i.e. not a small toothed 360 zip or large toothed short zip).

Luckily it comes with both sides to the zip, so a bit of sweet talk and the missus swapped out the zip on my summer jacket.

It's not very quick to thread it, well it takes a few minutes so I'll be buying one per pair of kevlar jeans!
