I've noticed a little light yellow/green fluid on the hut floor when the bike has been stored for a few days, does that sound like coolant leaking out the bottom? Would it be easy to find the leak or worth just flushing the whole system?

Probably coolant. Need to find where from . Usually coolant tank overflow, pressure cap or a leaky jubilee clip on a hose.

Check your rad for leaks....can get stones making holes in them (I know from experience).......but more than likely from the expansion tank overflow......

What the others have said really - locate the leak first to rule out anything like a hole it the radiator. More likely to be overflow from the coolant reservoir, in which case check to make sure you've not got too much coolant in already (it'll expand as it gets hotter so if it's over the "max" line when cold its likely to overflow when warmed up)

It definitely doesn't have too much in it, currently sitting a little below half way between max and min. Going to get the fairing off today hopefully and have a look, see if it's anything obvious! Thanks for all the replies :)

Actually noticed a couple of drops coming from the expansion tank overflow today. Level in the tank is OK....so I guess it's just fluid that is collecting in the overflow pipe.....condensation or slight overflow.....just a couple of drops where we stopped for a cuppa and a couple more when we got back.

See if you can follow the overflow pipe from the expansion tank and see where it comes out the bottom of the bike and if that is where the liquid is coming from. ... 8-)
