Bought this in place of the Halvarssons Neck Collar after getting drafts. Also thought it would have the added advantage of reducing the draft on my face from my wind tunnel of a lid.

Good: Considerable reduction in the draft from my wind tunnel lid- didn't notice it at all! Comfortable fit. No risk of drafts from it falling down at the back. The area at the top of the head and the nose is mesh for breathability.

Price seems reasonable (I paid £17).

Medium: The stitching inside the hood is a bit scratchy, as are the seams around the eye opening if you get the bit across your forehead beneath the padding of your lid. Might be a bit tricky to keep in place putting on a full face lid. Pretty effective at keeping the wind off your neck but definitely not as good as the Halverssons Neck Collar. Wore it in similair conditions to the Halverssons (minus the rain) and was noticably colder.

Bad: Defeats the point of my flip front lid

Overall: would recommend the Cold Killers Hot Hood for slightly less freezing weather or if you are not cold blooded like me.

personally I'll be combining it with my Halverssons neck collar for ulitmate cosy warmness!

mainly to keep the chill off my chest. It works very well, I just wish it was bigger so as to cover my large manly chest........

That was what I initially went for, but it was too big/loose at the top to stay up around my little bonce!

I wear it more like a normal neck tube, I dont like stuff over my mouth and nose. The elastic keeps in place round my chin and all the material bunched up keeps my neck lovely and warm and blocks draughts into the helmet.
