On checking my lights all work today i noticed that my rear brake pedal seems to be sticking at the top of it's movement so the brake light is staying on even though no brakes are applied. The movement of the pedal other than that is fine it's just that i need to physically lift the pedal the last 1mm or so to get the pedal to sit how it should and so the brake light turns off.

I've tried cleaning the springs in case any gunk on them was the cause but that's made no difference at all and after this i'm at a loss to think what the cause may be. If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated

Thanks

no idea what bike you have but on some(/all?) you can change the point at which the light comes on at the switch.

What bike is it? You can usually just follow the parts connected to the pedal and figure it out.

Im afraid thats the best I can say without knowing what bike you have

I'm a dumbass, discovered it was because the footpeg was over tightened. Thanks anyway.
