Right so my GPZ is up for it's MOT in august, both silencers are knackered, took them to the garage who claim to not be able to weld them because of where the cracks/breaks are, I have found a reasonable 2-1 Nexxus system that claims to require no rejetting although I'm struggling to see how this is possible.

Google has just thrown up repeats of that claim and not actual experience, anyone any ideas about going from 2-2 to 2-1?

Would it be more likely to run rich or lean if it wasn't right?

The Nexxus systems are probably as restrictive and quiet as the standard system , so they probably don't need rejetting. Normally if it is louder, it is less restrictive and may produce more power if rejetted. If it is a chromed mild steel system, the collector 2 into 1 system WILL eventually rot out and crack.

think you will find the nexxuus sysem is in fact a posh motad 2 into 1 system and no they dont need any rejetting or messing with the carbs they will be a straight swap

That's a bonus.. Is the sound better? I remember some guy raving about the delkevics on the ex500 forum and it sounded like a tractor IMO.

I put a stainless nexxus on my ~XJ and it ran perfect, no rejetting required. As long as it is the same restriction as ther standard one, happy days!
