So I'm thinking of doing my mod1 at the end of the month or sometime before the 28th, I know I need to first to my theory which is what I will do in the next two weeks or so.

Was wondering how long after I pass the theory could I take the mod1? Would I be able to do it straight away or would I have to wait first?

You could pass your theory and then go straight to your mod 1 if you wanted to. There's no waiting period that I know of.

If you're confident enough book your mod 1 straight after passing your theory.

My mod 1 was a couple months after passing my theory but that was only because I did some lessons before booking it. General wait was 3 weeks when booking mod1 here in Nottingham but could be longer or shorter dependent on where you are. :D

You can't actually book your module 1 until you've got the theory test certificate number so you've got to pass it first. You've no chance getting in before then I'm afraid though. You'll be able to get your theory within a week though if you're flexible enough, there's about a 3-4 week wait though for the mod 1 at most places.

Fair enough. Will book my theory now in a week or two and go for my mod 1 in November time, or could to both mod1 and mod2 at the same time if I could. Just depends on weather conditions I think.

Bump sorry for the double post guys.

I've downloaded 2 mock theory tests off the direct.gov website and have been doing some prac on them before I go for the real one. On the mock ones which are now probably outdated/old the pass mark is 43 out of 50 and I've been passing them with scores of 47/45 out of 50 which isn't bad but could probably be a bit better though I was just wondering if whether or not the pass mark in the real exam is the same or higher?

Also, not sure if the hazard perception also applies to the motorbike theory or not so was also wondering if anyone knows of any sites where I could do a free hazard perception test? Or even download one?

when i did my theory i have not found any site with a proper hazard perception test. i just bought on ebay a second hand disk at around £5

I got a disc from the 99p shop. 2012 Hazard perception and theory. Dsa official disk. I also had the app. There are 872 questions and I knew 800 of them or so, therefore of you're unlucky enough to get 50 of the 72 in the real test it could be bad news!

You know that saying,

Fail to prepare, prepare to fail! Don't leave it to chance.

Oh right. Well I'll be down Swansea tomorrow so I'll look around the shops for the hazard & theory disc(s)/pack. If or when I do I'll start practising as soon as I get home, but 72? Looks like there is a shit load of revision to do!
