Guest Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 what do you mean by "sort" adjust them ? or regrind them in ?Adjust them.......My engine has a habit of reving up.......it's only when on idle generally at traffic lights, it either dies or the revs go sky high, I've asked around and been told that it's either the inlets to the carbs, or the valves. I've checked the carbs an now running with new diaphrams, but the engine still wants to rev up, I think it's going to be a trip to a friendly mechanic to sort it out but i'm a bit strapped for cash with it bein christmas so hoped it was an adjust them, an it was a job I could do. coming to the conclusion that i'm going to have to spend some more cash on the old bird!!!!!!!!! oh well she's not reached retirement yet.
