Mod 1 and 2 Training

Hi just wondering can you do your mod1/2 training after the CBT or do i have to wait until i pass my theory test?

I think you need your Theory test passed before you can apply for the Mod1 & 2.

Yep,

CBT and Theory can be done in either order but both must be complete before Mod 1 and 2

Deffinately need your theory to take your mod 1.

You can start your training immediately but as has been said you need the theory before you can take the tests

One more thing i was wondering if anyone could clear up for me.

Im currently 22 and my birthday is in August. If i pass my tests in February 2013 for example, would i have to wait until Feb 2015 for my unrestricted licence. Or would i be able to do the unrestricted test as soon as Im 24 (August 2014), when i have oonly a year and a half experience?

You can do it on your 24th Birthday.

It would be unfair otherwise, a bloke with no experience is allowed to take a test for an unrestricted licence on his 24th, but you with a pass under your belt for a restricted licence and at least 18 months of experience having to wait.
