Weekend ride out? who's in North London?

Hello everyone!

I know weather is not on our side yet..but as long as it is dry..to me is good.

Sunday and Monday looks like it could be done so either one or the otherone could be good. Ideally get out early and come back early afternoon.

I'm new on the UK roads/country side, as my speed triple is..

Anyone up for it?

Monday is the Southend Shakedown....from the Ace Cafe on the North Circular to Southend Seafront.....

There's a few of us hoping to get down to Southend....but as we're coming down from Cambridgeshire we'll go pretty much straight there.....

I've never been on the shakedown so depending on health I might give it a bash but will join in on the A127 as I don't want to be going too wild

We're meeting up with Megawatt and Bonniebird's brother at the Travellers Joy pub near Rayleigh station at around 11:30-12:00....and then heading into Southend via some back routes.....so if anyone wants to join up with us there....please feel free.

And we're not speed merchants either.....so a nice leisurely ride via the back roads and along to the seafront.....

I'll see how it goes and if I'm fit enough and have a word with the guy's I'm meeting (hopefully) and it will be a couple of minutes for me it's just round the corner to the Joly Watsit in Rayliegh, I like the idea of not sitting at Cuckoo Corner in the traffic so going the back doubles sounds the best way forward. If it's a go'er I/we'll meet you at Rayleigh.
