Ben_E Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 I've got to replace my headstock bearings as they're getting a bit notchy. I have always used ball race bearings before but someone has recommended that i try tapered bearings as they're easier to fit and last longer. I've never used tapered bearings before so is there any benefit to them fitting or handling wise? Quote
Stu Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 someone has already told you! they last longer for a start and take less adjusting taper is the way to go Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 taper every time never replace with ball roller bearings Quote
