So, i bought a cheap Chinese import motorbike. That's when my problems started.

It needed work on the gear box as it was fussy when trying to get it into 3rd gear.

So whilst taking the bike apart i take the engine casing and put it back on. Only to tighten it to much and crack right through the case.

I have come to the decision as to buy another engine with a gearbox as it's an easier thing to do, though now my problem is what engine would fit into a 2008 XY125GY Shineray?

Anyone's advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

Chinese bikes will always fail!

If you can I would find out what it replicates as if its a CG125 copy from Honda you are much better buying a working but written off one of those and transplanting the engine and electrics across. You would stand a better chance at having a reliable motor then!
