Guest Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Hi all,Am just getting ready to book my cbt & das & am in the market for some boots. I need to fully kit myself out but has anyone got any recommendations on a pair of boots? Im not looking top end, but then again im not scrimping on kit as it can save my ass big time. Have found some sidi boots on ebay for cheaps but am wondering whether to go the new route.Personally wouldnt like to go over the £100.....so if you can recommend something feel free to chuck it my way Quote
Tango Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Welcome to the Forum mate....... Maybe go to the Newbies section and introduce yourself to the rest of the guys on TMBF..... I bought some Sidi Black Rain Evo boots a couple of years back......guy had bought them but were the wrong size for him.....so I got those for £100....which is a bit cheaper than buying in the shops or online.....but they were brand new.....so I was well pleased.....good boots too...... Guest Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Cheers mate, I was planning on doing that. All done now.Ebay does seem to have some bargains going, But I get sceptical buying certain things off there though. Will keep my eyes open, I think getting a 2nd hand pair will make my bank balance smile anyway. Haha Quote
Tango Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 The only thing I wouldn't buy 2nd hand is a Lid......otherwise it's a good way to get decent kit for a lot less than buying new...... Quote
Guest Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I would never do that. Especially with some of the smelly people about. Ha. Right I am on a ebay mission......lets see what goodies I can find Quote
Zod Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Look on Google for MandP or JTS biker clothing etc they have some good boots on both sites, some under 100 ^^ Quote
