I've only bloody passed MOD 1 and MOD 2 this morning!!!! Got a minor for my u-turn on MOD 1; i turned as i completed my second lifesaver as opposed to doing the lifesaver then turning. And then 2 minors on MOD 2 for lane discipline and gears (found neutral instead of first) All in all, very very very happy!!

Not bad considering my first time on a bike (aside from the CBT) was Sunday.

Bike shopping time :D

not meant as a jibe at you, but it's frightening how little experience you really need to obtain a full motorcycle license...

When i passed my test, i'd have said that i didn't have enough experience on the road on a larger capacity machine...

I'll have to agree with you. It's quite scary that sunday was my first time on a 'proper bike' and today I passed both tests. Although I suppose i've only been learning to pass the test, now is the time i start learning to ride. I also suppose a lot of it is down to road experience too.

But like you said, more experience on a larger bike would of been better.

And as you say - it's now that you start learning to ride! best not let the illusion of ability outstrip the actual ability!

Congrats mate :)

Sorry to shit all over your thread, but...

I hate the lack of consistency with the bike tests at the moment. By the time I've obtained my full license, I will have had to of done a minimum of two tests (very costly) and have been riding a minimum of 4 years. But if you're over 24, it takes a week to get your license.
