gilera runner quad lights help

Hi all does the runner quad lights have hi beam


As iv fitted them and the bulbs just look the same brightness


I have low beam then switch to hi beam and it looks the same as low beam


The side lights are fine


And i have to swich my mian beam and low beam switch to the middle for the hi beam light to go out and for light on the dash what shows the hi beam is on is that right..


Its a Gilera runner 180....


Any one know

If its the 180 two stroke and its in good condition, put it back to standard, they are an appreciating classic going up in value ;)

(Mine is in storage ;) )

Hi mate to late iv had it for years its kitted to max same as the engine built it years ago but couldn't get hold of these lights then didnt look hard enough knowing my luck so got it back out and fitted some but got this problem...


I built it from a frame and logbook etc. :-)

hi, I had the same lights as this on my runner and could never get them to work properly,after many hours of trying I contacted an auto electrician,he had problems but managed to get them working not sure how but it was worth the £30 to save my insanity,all the best.

looking at the rear pic each bulb only has one filament in it so are you sure that one bulb isnt higher wattage than the other so you will have one on for low beam and turning high beam on will turn the other one on that has higher wattage
